Full Elec worked on the development of an equipment to measure the distances an optician needs to prepare a glass for spectacles.
The system developed by the company measures the distance between the glasses and the reading plan in a very precise way, using ultrasonic waves. Functioning like radar, the reflected waves are used to determine the distance. Each glass has its own sensor.
Full Elec developed the signal treatment in-house using the reflected waves from the glasses and not those coming from the face. This setup is awarded with a golden SILMO.
